Chlorination

Selling or buying a house? A quick fix to your waters bacterial problems is that of chlorination. One of our skilled technicians will come to your house and chlorinate your well which consists of putting granular chlorine into your well, bypassing your treatment system and running the chlorine into your house lines. Once your line have been chlorinated, your water will need to sit for a minimum of 24 hours.  After the water has sat, you will then let an outside spigot run for 24 to 48 hours to ensure that all of the chlorine is out of your water. Once this process is complete, you can contact us for a bacteria test to determine whether or not the bacteria is still present and see if your house is ready to be sold.

Note: Chlorinations are not always successful, in which case Ultra Violet lights can be installed as a guaranteed fix for bacteria issues.
